Jo Ann (Kemp) Brinkley

Jo Ann Brinkley, age 86, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. She was born in Quinlan, TX, on June 23, 1936, to Winfred and Florence Viola Latham Kemp.

Left to honor her memory are her sons, Larry Brinkley and wife, Carrie, of Spurger, TX, Craig Brinkley and wife, Teresa, of Tulsa, OK, and Lance Brinkley and wife, Carrie, of Silsbee, TX; grandchildren, C. J. Brinkley and wife, Ashley, Sarah Lidgett, Samantha Brinkley, Harper Brinkley, Madison Brinkley, Austen Brinkley, and Shae Blevins; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Jo Ann in death is beloved husband, Weldon Brinkley, and her parents.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657. Jo Ann’s life honoring service will begin at 12:00 p.m, also at the funeral home, with Bro. Buford Rogers officiating, and interment to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Graham, James Moore, Johnny Moore, Kenneth Hecke, Steve Thorkveen, and Alvin Credeur.
