Jimmie Hebert Obituary

Mr. Jimmie Lee Hebert, 80, of Beaumont, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Jimmie was born on December 14, 1941, in Beaumont to Callis and Louise Hebert. If you knew Jimmie, you knew he was the sweetest man in the world. He grew up in Hamshire his entire life and lived there until he made the big move, 2 miles down the road, to Fannett. While Jimmie’s home was always here in Texas, he drove all over the country as a commercial truck driver working hard to support the family that he loved so well. In 1963 Jimmie married the love of his life and the only woman for him, Carolyn Lorina (Spears) Hebert. Together the two raised a family of four children and built a loving home together. 56 years is a long time to spend with one person, but if you had asked Jimmie, he’d tell you that was the perfect woman; and he sure did learn how to be successful in a marriage early on- just do whatever Carolyn says and do it with a smile! The two were truly inseparable during their time together, and you just know that she was waiting on him when he got to heaven on Wednesday to ask him why it took him so long to there! Strong of character and body, Jimmie was a fantastic father and loving PopPop, the kind of simple man who never met a stranger and would literally do anything for anyone…even complete strangers. Rarely mad and always kind, Jimmie was a deacon at Sabine Pass Christian Fellowship and deeply faithful to his Lord. The world is a bit dimmer today with the loss of such an incredible man, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Callise Wayne Hebert Sr. and wife Patricia of Fannett, Nathan Hebert and wife Monica of Fannett, Cynthia Bates and husband Kerry of New London; his grandchildren, Authum Haynes, Callise Wayne Hebert Jr. and wife Shelby, Jimmy Hebert and wife Karylanne, Fancy Ousley and husband Tyler, Chelsea Hudgins, Derek Hudgins, Summer Hinton and husband Kyle, Rainie Mosley, Zackery Mosley, Dustin Bates, Steven Jordan-Bates and wife Kacy, and Winter Bates; his 24 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Callis Hebert and Louise (Royer) Hebert; his wife, Carolyn Lorina (Spears) Hebert; his daughter, Kemberly Mosley and husband David; and his siblings: Enola Tuner and husband Joe, and Agnes Aucoin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy, Zack, Callise Wayne Jr. “Bubba”, Derek, James, and Eddie.
