Jerry Charles Becka Jr.

Jerry Charles Becka Jr., age 80, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born in Orange, TX, on January 22, 1944, to Jerry Charles Becka Sr. and Irene Marie Becka.

Jerry served our country in the Air Force where he met the love of his life, Lucrecia in Laredo, Texas. He worked at Exxon/Mobil for 27 years; after his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop. He spent most his life working on some form of vehicle. Jerry was a true handy man, that could fix anything. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Gail Becka McAdams and Linda Becka Brown; sisters, Carolyn Vogel and husband Arthur of Zavalla, TX and Judy David and husband Ronnie of Riverside, TX; brother, James Becka and wife D’Neece; grandchildren, Cameron Lee, Reagan Brown, and Braedan Lee of Lumberton, TX; and great-grandchildren, Atlas Lee and Zerelda Lee of Springfield, MO; as well as many extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucrecia Juarez Becka; and daughter, Mary Ann Becka.

Cremation has been entrusted to Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
