James Grady Ricks

James Grady Ricks, age 89, of Kountze, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. He was born in Peason, LA, on April 9, 1943, to Charles Grady Ricks and Odessa Watson Ricks.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Charlotte Ricks Fillingim of Livingston, TX; nephew, George Michael Fillingim and wife, Kathleen of Humble, TX and their children; niece, Kimberly Fillingim Dunn and husband Melvin of Lago Vista, TX and their children; sister-in-law, Dottye Ricks of Wildwood, Village Mills, TX; and grandchildren, Randall, Mallory, Dani, and Baillie Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette Gibson Ricks; daughter, Rhonda Beth Nichols; and brother, Samuel Charles Ricks.
