James Christopher Ewing

James Christopher Ewing Jr., age 29, of Orange, TX, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Beaumont, TX. He was born on July 21, 1994, in Beaumont, TX, James Christopher Ewing Sr. and Edith Isabel Smith.

James loved to be on the water in his boat fishing, being in the woods to put food on the table. He loved jumping on his motorcycle, taking rides and ministering. Along with helping anyone that needed help didn’t matter what it was, he had a big heart. He also loved to put his mechanic skills to the test by taking apart just about anything and putting it back together. At the end of the day, the most important part of his life was spending time with family.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Edith Smith; son, Cameron Carl-Phillip Ewing; fiancé, Tiffany Milligan; step-sons, Christopher Kyle and Chance Kyle; step-daughter, Christa Kyle; brothers, Joshua Miller and Dillon McCormick; sisters, April Dumont and Crystal Miller; nephews, K’lyn Dumont, Antonio Miller, and Jacob Miller; nieces, Camori Johnson, Kamilla Dumont, and Brianna Miller; godson, Daxton McCormick; and a host of extended family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Immel; and daughter, Isabella Ewing.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Orange County Cowboy Church. James’s life honoring memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2023, also at Orange County Cowboy Church, with Pastor Harlan officiating.
