Mrs. Gwendolyn Larice (Granniss) Ochoa, 67, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Gwendolyn was born in Beaumont on February 10, 1954 to Francis Theodore Granniss and Avis Colleen Gossage.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David Earl Ochoa Sr.;her children, Laura Olivia Ochoa and husband Johnny Ray Rye, David Earl Ochoa Jr., Brian Duane Ochoa and wife, Emily Elizabeth Ellis Ochoa, Taressa Lynna Ochoa Pulido, Jonathan Ashley Ochoa and wife, Marianne Rachelle Sellers Ochoa, Todd Daniel Ochoa and wife, Elizabeth Loring Ochoa; her grandchildren, Nicholas Anthony Rye, Dario Evan Ochoa, Aiden Dominick Ochoa, Ava Elizabeth Ochoa, Laila Isabella Ochoa, Ethan Ashley Ochoa, Alina Brooke Ochoa, Gracie Michelle Ochoa, Guiliana Malynn Ochoa, Mila Christina Ochoa, Dahlia Eve Ochoa, Lex Knight Ochoa, Gizelle McKenzie Ochoa, Everett Ivan Ochoa, Eli Adrian Ochoa, Evelyn Camille Ochoa, Enzo Isaac Ochoa, Evander Alexander Ochoa, Raddix Reign Ochoa, Khalil Ryan Sellers, Aaliya Jacobi Sellers; her sisters, Debra Lynn Olivier and husband Kenneth Willis Olivier, and Lois Arlene Wharton and husband Rex Wharton.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Granniss and Avis Gossage; and her sister, Rosalyn Laryce Granniss.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Ochoa Jr., Brian Ochoa, Jonathan Ochoa, Todd Ochoa, Nicholas Rye, Dario Ochoa, Aiden Ochoa, Ethan Ochoa, and Khalil Sellers.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor. Gwendolyn’s life honoring funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor with interment to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor.
