Gloria Jean Hinton Collum, age 80, passed away on June 18, 2020. She was born on June 21, 1939 to Ernest and Elizabeth Hinton.

Devoted to her children, her warm heart taught them the meaning of a mother’s love. Gloria was a hard worker that was well liked by the many that knew her personally and professionally, and her years of dedication to her success lead to all that she achieved in her career. When she became a grandmother, she found a new home for her loving heart; she loved her grandbabies. Gloria was known for her decorative abilities, amassing a large collection of holiday and personalized decorations over the years. As a devoted Christian, she finally arrived at her true home, taking her last breath here to open her eyes on the other side. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her, until they see her again.

Left to honor her memory is her loving children, Robert Maddox and wife, Chris, of Lumberton and Tanya Maddox of Riverside; sister, Joyce Barton of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Tiffany Gutierrez and Robert Kevin Maddox II; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.

Preceding Gloria in death is her husband, Larry Collum; her parents; and siblings, Chris Arnolt and Bobby Hinton.

Gloria’s life honoring graveside service will be on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 2657 Co Rd 3000, Joaquin, TX 75954.
