1955 - 2019

Fred L. Cox Jr. passed away on April 1, 2019. Fred was born on June 28, 1955 in Port Arthur, TX to Fred L. Cox Sr. and Joyce Davis.

Fred was kind hearted and loving, the type of man that was always there for his family, no matter what. He loved to joke and laugh, he enjoyed life’s simplest things and was thankful for his blessings. On June 9, 1987, Fred married the love of his life, “Tina”; they enjoyed 32 years of love. Tina has an incredible long-term memory and Fred possessed an amazing short-term memory, together they remembered everything. He and Tina moved to South East Texas in 1994, where Fred spent the rest of his life with his family and friends. He loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and horses, but his special collection of novelties consisted of elephants. Fred was a devout believer of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Justina Cox; mother, Joyce Davis; brothers, Doug Cox and wife, Linda, Charlie Tramp and wife, Christina; sister, Deborah Johnson and husband, Paul and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred L. Cox Sr.
