Evelyn Sue Padgett

Evelyn Sue Padgett, age 74, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born in Beaumont, on March 5, 1948 to William and Dorothy Neill.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Albert Timothy Padgett; daughters, Lorie Wallace and husband, John, Linda Peet and husband Reggie; brothers, John and Frankie Neill; grandchildren, Sarah Wallace, Chris Barnes, Jacob Wallace and wife, Brianna, Shelby Butts and husband, Hunter, James Barnes, and Emily Peet; great-grandchildren, Kason Butts, Kinsley Butts, and Blakely Wallace; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Evelyn in death are her parents; son, David Barnes; brothers, J.T. Neill and Billy Neill; sister, Rachel Sammons.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Evelyn’s life honoring memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation.
