Evelyn Clark LeGasse

Evelyn Clark LeGasse, age 85, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1938, in Jasper, AL, to her parents, Edward Eugene Clark and Myrtle Bertha Robison.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Vickey Gray of Lumberton and Dana Ellzey and husband, Dean, of Beaumont; brother, Herman Clark of Alabama; sisters, Joyce Ashworth and husband, Tommy, of Groesbeck and Judy Marquart of Houston; grandchildren, Olivia Maechel Jenkins of Oregon, Matthew Scott Gray and wife, Katherine, of Dallas, Austin Reid Ellzey of Austin, and Justin Wade Ellzey of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Kansas Alexandria Jenkins of San Marcos and Cambree Pergande of Oregon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; son, baby boy Winfrey; brother, Harlan Clark; and sisters, Elaine Nettles, Nita McDaniel, Saundra Mangram, Maxine Brown, and Shirley Donnely.
