Eric Wayne Conn

Eric Wayne Conn, 49, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. He was born on November 1, 1976, in Lumberton, TX.

A generous man, if you needed help, or even the shirt off his back, he gave it freely. He loved life, especially days spent on the lake, where he felt most at peace. Eric had a mind full of surprising knowledge, the kind that made people smile and wonder how he knew so much. And people enjoyed him. There wasn’t anyone who met him who didn’t take liking to him. As he grew older, he became the most loving and polite version of himself, gentle, warm, and deeply kind. A natural builder and amateur inventor, Eric loved creating things with his hands. He was talented, too, able to draw with ease. Eric lived fully, loved deeply, and gave generously. His memory will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew him.

Left to honor his memory are daughters, Nicole Bearden and husband, Blake, Emily Conn, Miranda Conn, and Lindsey; son, Eric Wayne Conn Jr.; mother, Cyndi Conn; brother, Chris Conn and wife, Angie; and grandchildren, Declan, Hudson, Jazlyn, Blanca, and Keliyah; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Eric in death is his father, Billy Lane Conn; and brother, Aaron Conn.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St. Lumberton, TX 77657. Eric’s life honoring funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
