Enid Louise Jenkins of Vidor, Texas was born October 7, 1950, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Enid is preceded in death by her parents Jesse Enoch and Helen Marie Gillis, and sister Wilma Davis.
Enid was a member of Eastgate Church for fifty years. She leaves behind a legacy of Godly love and a servant’s heart, a large extended family and numerous friends. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Carl “Bo” Jenkins; son and daughter-in-law Carl Roy Jr. and Letitia Jenkins, son Timothy Shane Jenkins and fiancé Margo Hymer; her sister Mary Sue Ripka and family.
She was blessed to be dearly loved by six grandchildren: Meagan Dear, Alex and wife Olivia Alvis, Jordan Collins, Sheldon Jenkins, Emalie and husband Josh Fontenot, Jessi Jenkins and fiancé Devin Bean, and eleven great grandchildren: Andi Baldwin, Baylie Baldwin, Cason Alvis, Bryson Jenkins, Adalyn Alvis, Hoyt Cancienne-Bryant, Cora Belle Alvis, Corbin Jenkins, Oakley Alvis, and Oliver Fontenot.
Enid greatly loved and adored all of her nieces and nephews.
