Elmer Ray Jones

Elmer Ray Jones, age 96, of Silsbee, TX, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born in Bazette, TX, on August 13, 1929, to R.D. and Hazel Sessions Jones.

Left to honor his memory is his daughter, Tanya Hutto and husband, Glenn of Silsbee, TX; son, Glen Jones and wife, Leslie of Abilene, TX; grandchildren, Shae Hutto and wife, Michelle of Silsbee, TX, Andrea Johnston and husband, Scott of Silsbee, TX, Lindsey Rivas of Silsbee, TX, Jason Jones and wife, Holly of Austin, TX, and Reagan Berry and husband, Kyle of Abilene, TX; great-grandchildren, Lauren Hutto and Andrew Hutto of Silsbee, TX, Matt Johnston, Jamey Johnston, and Camille Rivas of Silsbee, TX, Wylie Berry, Taytum Berry, and Sadie Berry of Abilene, TX, and Josey Jones of Austin, TX; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Elmer in passing are his parents, and brother, Jerry Jones and wife, Polly.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Pine Crest Baptist Church of Silsbee, TX. Elmer’s life honoring funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Pine Crest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
