Edna E. Jones

Edna E. Jones, 88, of Beaumont, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1937, in Beaumont, TX.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Diane Barnett and husband Ricky; son, George Jones and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Jason Barnett and wife Monica, Joshua Barnett and wife Carly, Jacob Barnett and wife Erica, and Allison Calderon; great-grandchildren Thomas, Ellie, Nathan, Maggie, Edmund, Harper, and one on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Edna in death is her husband, Raymond Jones; parents, George and LaVee Hill; and sisters, Daralynne Abshire and Georgia Ann Dees.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, 2955 S Major Dr. Beaumont, TX 77707. Edna’s life honoring funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2955 S Major Dr. Beaumont, TX 77707. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, TX.
