Eddie Onofre Perez Jr.

Edward “Eddie” Onofre Perez Jr., age 70, of Kountze, TX, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. He was born March 22, 1952, in Galveston and raised by his parents, Edward Onofre Perez Sr. and Mary Louise Martinez Perez.

Left to honor his memory is his wife, Laureen Perez; children, Edward “Trey” Perez and wife Bessi of Sour Lake, James “Jamie” Perez and wife Randee of Kountze, Dana Bolser and husband Chris of Kountze; siblings, Andy Perez of Dallas, Robert Perez and wife Barbara of Kountze, Johnnie Perez and wife Ruth of Beaumont; sister-in-law, Julia Perez; grandchildren, Kolynn, Kimberly, Lauren, Tyler, Justin, Rachel, Kyle, Payton, Catie, and Karen; 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding Eddie in death are his parents, his first wife of 46 years, Phyllis Perez, and his siblings, Alfred Perez of Kountze, and Rose Istre of Kountze.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bolser, Kyle Bolser, Tyler Parker, Roger Guidry, Robert Perez II, and Thomas Tibbs.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grace Church. Eddie’s life honoring funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
