Donald "Don" Arthur Saidat

Don Saidat, 77, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife by his side on Monday, October 5, 2020. Don was born February 14, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Otto and Elsie Saidat. Raised in Elmhurst, IL with his four brothers, Don called in Villa Park, IL  home for more than 42 years before relocating to California and eventually settling down in Lumberton, TX.

Don was a man of many talents and attributes; from his skills at computer programing, drafting and even engineering to his passionate pursuit of music, Don was a self-described Heniz 57 of interests, skills and hobbies. A true motivator to everyone he met, Don loved to encourage and uplift people. A little league coach and umpire, involvement with and supporting the next generation was always a focus in Don's life. The world will be a little less bright without Don in it, but all those lucky enough to know him will forever help to carry on his legacy and memory.  

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Sandra Felowitz Saidat; Brothers, Richard (Dick) B. Saidat and wife Carol; David R. Saidat and wife Cathy; Dennis J. Saidat and spouse Jude Harrin; Brothers-in-law, Wayne Felowitz and wife Joyce Lovett; Terry Felowitz; Jeff Felowitz; Sister-in-law, Georgeann Guy; 3 neices; 3 nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; And 5 great great nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is his parents, Elsie Saidat and Otto Saidat; and his son, Bret Arthur Saidat.

To celebrate Don's life, the family will have a Memorial Service on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657.
