Delores Louise Conway, age 82, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born on December 1, 1942, in Beaumont, TX, to Edward and Johnnie Miller Peace.

Delores was a devout Pentecostal woman of immense strength and character, shaped by life's challenges and her steadfast faith. Entering her first marriage at a young age, she had to quickly learn the demands of managing a home, gaining maturity and resilience along the way. Before her husband’s passing, they were blessed with 3 beautiful children. Delores navigated the challenges of early motherhood, nurturing her children, and ensuring the smooth running of her household, all while growing into a compassionate and dedicated family anchor. She later found love with her second husband, Jerry. Their beautiful marriage of 49 years which would bring them 2 wonderful children, began in a whirlwind romance—Jerry fell in love at first sight and proposed within hours. They were married just a week later, a testament to their deep connection and shared life journey. Their home was always filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of Delores's cooking—except for the smothered liver, which they cheerfully avoided. Her love and dedication to her family only grew as the years went on.

Delores's life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and the enduring power of love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Left to honor her memory are her sons, Kim Conway and wife, Cindy, Joseph Conway and wife, Jodi, and Barney Beasley; daughters, Johnnie Stroud and husband, Jimmy, and Doris Folsom and husband, Keith; brother, Phillip Bono; sister, Doris Vincent and husband, Buford; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Delores in death are her parents; husband, Joe Beasley; and husband, Jerry Conway.
