David Gomez, 54, of Beaumont passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
David was born to Blas Gomez and Elodia Garcia on September 16, 1966 in Las Piedras Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico. He spent his younger years in his birth country and moved to Texas at nearly 15 years old. David was a kindhearted man who was known for being an extremely hard worker, spending most of his life working as a roofer. He loved to hang out with his friends who knew him as a very giving person. He lived life to the fullest and lived freely. David did what he wanted when he wanted to do it.
Mr. Gomez was very devoted to his church and would attend any chance he had. He was known for saying “Hey, I am going to church, and I will be praying for you!”
David spent nearly 20 years with the love of his life Elena Cardenas and was devastated when she passed on to the next life. Those who knew them can imagine the wonderful reunion they are having now as they join again and wait for those who are missing them now in this life.
Left here for now to remember David are his parents Blas Gomez Oralde and Elodia Garcia; His Daughters, Felicia Gomez of Beaumont and Estrella Cardenas of Beaumont; His Step-Sons, Robert Ozment Jr and Patrick Ozment of Pasadena; Brothers, Rolondo Gomez of Oklahoma City, Roman Gomez of Las Piedras Rio Grande, and Richard Anthony Gomez of Oklahoma City; Sister Olivia Gomez of Oklahoma City; Grand Son Christian Nguyen of Beaumont; and numerous extended family and friends.
