Cynthia Arroyo Obituary

On the 22nd of July 2021, in the comfort of her home in Lumberton, Texas surrounded by family and friends, Cynthia Marie Terrell-Arroyo, “Cindy”, was called home to be with the Lord. Cindy was born on the 20th of December 1957 in Orange, Texas to parents, John and Mary Terrell.

She leaves behind her loving, caring, and compassionate husband of 43 years, Paul Joseph Arroyo. Their love was, and is, an example to all of their friends and family. She had an undying love for her daughters, Amber Harvey, Tina Hooker, and Angel Howard. Her grandchildren Dustin, Justin, Zack and his wife Nicole Gallier, April, Casey, Lane Brown, and Makayla Falgot were her world. She always loved, supported and guided them in life. She always made a point to show unconditional love to her nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by countless others in the Arroyo, Craft and Terrell families. Cindy serves as a pillar of faith for her family. She was the type of woman that would give all she had to help people out, to the best of her abilities. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though I die, yet shall he life, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die…” (John 11:25-26)

Cindy was a devoted Christian whose love and faith only grew larger with time. She stuck to her faith through every blessing and downfall. She put her faith and her life in the Lord’s hands and trusted in His will. Her love and faith will be everlasting. “In the path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.” (Proverbs 12:28)
