Curtis Wade

Jimmie Curtis Wade Jr., age 75, of Vidor, TX, passed from this life on Thursday, September 1, 2022. He was born July 27, 1947, in Beaumont and raised by his parents, Jimmie Curtis Wade Sr. and Myrtle Florine Sanders.

Left to honor his memory is his loving wife Suez Wade; son, Chad Wade and wife, Adina, of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Courtney Wade of Beaumont; brothers, Dennis Wade and wife, Norma, and Lamar Pruitt and wife, Buffy; sisters, Toni Holst and husband, Wes, of Lumberton, and Joni Newton and husband, Jeff, of Lumberton; sister-in-law, Margaret Wade; grandchildren, Jazmine Wade, Izabella Wade, Cooper Lowe, and Bria Wade; god-child, Rachel Bridges; and a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding Jimmie in death are his parents; brother, Donnie Wade; and sister, Denise Wade White.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home,  766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657. Jimmie’s life honoring memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
