Connie Marie (Trower) Holland

 Connie Marie (Trower) Holland, 68, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Connie was born May 3, 1953, in the Panama Canal Zone to Harvey B. Trower and Mildred Marie (Cartwright) Trower. Connie lived in the Panama Canal Zone for the first few years of her life while her father was a tugboat captain there before moving to Chesapeake, Virginia where she grew up. Connie attended Indian River High School in Chesapeake, VA where her bright personality and smile began to really stand out among the crowd. Connie was always all about her family and her two children where her world. Connie was an amazing mother who always supported her children and was there for them in whatever way they needed. She loved to live in the moment; a care-free, beach loving, spirited woman who could really give you a run for your money when it came to playing bingo! There was nothing Connie couldn’t do if “you just kept smiling and pushing forward”. Family holidays and get-togethers won’t be the same without her, but her loving memories and the impact she made on her family and friends won’t soon be forgotten.

Connie is survived by her daughter Amber Emmert and husband Michael Emmert and their three children Jasmine, Seth, and Scott Emmert; her son Seth Holland and wife Melissa Holland and their daughter Aria Holland; her brother Harvey Tower and his wife Beth Trower; as well as numerous friends and extended family members over the years.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Kathy Davis.

To honor Connie's life there will be Visitation on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657). Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657) and will be officiated by Pastor Steve Ford of Dawndale Baptist Church of Beaumont. Connie will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral services at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze, TX.
