Claudine Smith Decker

Claudine Smith Decker, 85, of Beaumont, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1940, in Midland, TX.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Scotty Peavey and John Decker and wife, Leann; daughter, April Decker; grandchildren, Bethany Decker, Jennifer Decker, Jon-Michael Decker, Zach Roberts, Andrew Roberts, and Makayla Walker; great-grandchildren, Landon Mann and Levi Mann; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Claudine in death is her husband, Wally Patrick Decker; parents, John Wesley Smith and Lydia Mae Smith; brother, Doug Smith; and sisters, Lorraine Smith and Janice Smith.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Journey Community Church Worship Center,  1534 US-96, Lumberton, TX 77657. Claudine's life honoring memorial service will begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Journey Community Church Worship Center,  1534 US-96, Lumberton, TX 77657.
