Cheryl Elaine Simmons

Cheryl Elaine Simmons, age 71, of Lumberton, TX passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born in Florida, on July 30, 1951, to Chester Edward Allen and Betty Lou Harrison.

Left to honor her memory is her son, Allen Michael Simmons, of League City, TX; brother, Chester Edward Allen, II, and wife, Tina, of Silsbee, TX; granddaughter, Dani Simmons, of Lumberton, TX; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Michael “Mike” Simmons; her parents; daughter, Melissa Amy Simmons; and brother, Keith Allen.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Cheryl's life honoring funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery.
