Cheryl Lynne Cook, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was born on June 7, 1960, in Beaumont, TX, to Clinton Joseph Daigle and Dorothy Lee Tanner.
Left to honor Cheryl’s memory is her husband, Donald Cook; daughters, Christian Phillips and husband, Justin, Kayla Mitchell and husband, Jacobi, and Tiffany Cook; son, Roger Collins and wife, Callie; brother, Thomas Wooten and wife, Judy; sister, Deborah Toney; grandchildren, Hannah Bennett and significant other, Hayden Harmon, Rebecca Bennett and significant other, Tanner Law, Trenton Phillips, Aubri Phillips, Maggie Langham, Jakob Langham, Juliannah Wilson, Daxton Mitchell, Loxley Mitchell, Savannah Cook and Izabella Cook; great grandchild, Saylor Rosa; aunt, Nora Lee Judalet; cousins, Rhonda Spittler and husband, Curt, and Brittany Green and husband, Christopher, and Rusty Rhodes; nephew, Clinton Toney; niece, Amanda Green; as well as a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Joseph Daigle and Dorothy Tanner Powell.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Cheryl's life honoring funeral will be Friday, January 10, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m., also at Lumberton Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Ivey officiating. Following the service there will be food and fellowship at the Sour Lake Community Center, 250 S Ann St, Sour Lake, TX 77659, anyone is welcome.
