Carolyn Sue Gardner

Carolyn Sue Gardner, age 83, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1942, in Lincoln, NE, to Gerald and Mary Chapel Gardner.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Diane M. Taylor; grandchildren, Danielle Harris and husband, Aaron, Amanda Riskovich, David Riskovich and wife, Krystalyn, Jennifer Schreiber, Mathew Schreiber, Christopher Taylor, and Kristen Simpson; great grandchildren, Kelsy Duprie and husband, Jesse, Ian Woodard, and Aurora Schrieber; daughter in law, Grace Reyes Griffith; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Carolyn in death are her parents; husband, David D. Griffith; son, Robert W. Griffith; daughter, Kathleen J. Griffith; son in law, Kenneth G. Taylor Jr.; and sisters, Sharon L. Gardner and Stella L. Gardner.

Carolyn's life honoring memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
