Carl Edward Goodman

Carl Edward Goodman, age 85, of Orange, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was born on August 20, 1940 in Beaumont, TX, to Thomas and Francis Fountain.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, James Carlos and Greg Goodman and wife, Amanda; daughters, Karen Bateman and Darlene Carlos; brothers, John Ray Goodman, Owen Goodman, and Perry Goodman; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Carl in death are his parents; wife, Dorothy May Goodman; and daughters, Jodi Goodman, Candace Desiree Marshall, and Ramona Mason.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Carl's life honoring funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home with interment to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery.
