Calvin Kheang Soeung

Calvin Kheang Soeung passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the tender age of 3 years old. Born into his loving family on January 4, 2017, Calvin was the youngest of the four children of Kheang Bun Soeung and Marlen Soeung. 

This beautiful bright little boy was always smiling, quick to join in with singing and fun games with his siblings and parents; Calvin was the definition of a happy child. Calvin always woke up happy and ready to share his unique and contagious laugh with all around him. An avid eater, Calvin was always sneaking fruits and donuts (to be found half eaten somewhere in the house later) when not chasing his brothers. A fast runner, Calvin would always play a game of tag. Calvin truly loved his parents and was always asking for his “momma”; hanging on her like momma’s little monkey and playing with her hair any time he could get his hands into it. His bright face will be so deeply missed that words truly fail to express it; knowing Calvin is running so fast through Heaven right now is the only comfort that slightly eases this loss.

Left to cherish Calvin’s bright memory are his parents, Kheang Bun Soeung and Marlen Soeung; his Grandpa and Grandma Soeung; his brothers, Adrian Soeung, Maddox Soeung, and Damian Soeung; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family members, and his church family.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Turning Point Church in Vidor, TX. A short time of visitation prior to funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Turning Point Church in Vidor, TX followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM. Calvin will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX following the funeral services.
