Bryan Luther Purcell, 53, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was born on August 15, 1972, in Orange, TX.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Angel Purcell; sons, David “DJ” Keller, Erich Keller, Alan Keller, Richard Ties and wife, Paige, Joshua Domingue, and Rylan Holland; mother, Pat Purcell; sisters, Colethia “Kristy” Johnson and husband, Earl Sr., Angela Acord and significant other, Donald Ochs, and Tricia McDaniel and husband, Keith “R.J”; grandson, Ezekiel “Zeeky” Ties; nephews, Christopher Johnson, Keith McDaniel, III, Thomas Acord, Timothy Acord, Corey McDaniel, Rodney Acord, and Mason Ties; nieces, Kristina Johnson; grandniece, Oakley Ties; 14 grandnieces and grandnephews; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Bryan in death are his father, Rodney Luther Purcell; and nephew Earl Johnson Jr.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
