Billy Earl Hughes

Billy Earl Hughes, 64, of Silsbee, Texas (known to most as “Billy B”) was as well-loved as he was unconventional. He was a gentle, caring person who lived by his own code. He was preceded in death by his parents Alton and Lovell Hughes, his brother Jerry and his sister Deborah.

Surviving are his brothers David Lyles and Butch Breazeale and his wife Charlotte and their daughter, Kelli; his daughter Naomi Hughes and her husband Ray; grand-children, Layne Simmons-Hughes and Scarlet Simmons-Hughes; nephew Jessie Dale Williams and his wife Jessica Williams and their children, Weston and Josie; niece Heather Nicole Kinard and her husband Clayt and their children, Kennedy, Jordan, Kylie, Holden and Landon; nephew Jeremy Hughes as well as countless extended family, adopted family and innumerable, lifelong friends.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Lumberton Family Funeral Home and Billy will be laid to rest with his family at a graveside service in the future. Please check back for additional service information as it becomes available.
