Betty Louise Jones

Betty Louise Jones, 95, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. She was born on March 27, 1931, in Crockett, TX.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Earnest Breaux, Jo Dailey, Betti Croft and husband, Van, Joni Nelson, June Welch, Crystal Ortega and husband, Julio, Amanda Long, Jack Long Jr., Paige Gilchriest, Stacey Verrett, Tim Carr, and Christopher; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents, Leo Farris and Loice Ashmore; daughters, Zelma Boudreaux Coats, Kathy Long, and Becky Weaver; brother, Jack May Jr.; and granddaughter, Jana Boudreaux.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Betty's life honoring funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday July 18, 2026, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home with interment to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery.
