Betty Marie Brown

Betty Marie Andrus Brown, age 91, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born on November 3, 1933, in Beaumont, TX, to Joseph Guy Andrus and Winifred Marie Mann.

Betty graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont in 1952 and, on February 20th, 1953, married the love of her life, Thomas Brown. A devoted member of Sabine Tabernacle, she shared her musical talents through ministry, playing the organ and piano, as well as composing special music arrangements. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Brown dedicated many years to leading the church’s Young People League.

Betty is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Brown of Beaumont, TX; and granddaughter Laura Brown Valle also of Beaumont, TX. At the time of her death, Mrs. Brown was survived by her daughter, Joy Lynn Brown, who passed away on April 4, 2025.
