Bernardo Gonzalez Vargas, 64, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday October 11, 2020. He was born on April 16, 1956 to Hilaria Gonzalez Gonzales and Felipe Vargas Ibarra in Mexico.
Bernardo was a man that could best be described as ambitious. From the young age of 18, he moved to America, and immediately got to work pursuing his American dream. He was undoubtedly a hard worker, but he never let work stop him from being a family man. Bernardo could often be found spending time with his loved ones and making jokes only he thought were funny. He genuinely loved being a big part in the lives of those he cared for, and his devotion to family was unmatched. Bernardo was talented beyond description, his love for music helped him realize his incredible singing ability, and his dedication led him to master playing the guitar. Music was an outlet which allowed him to express his creativity, and it brought him the most joy to be able to share it with those closest to him. Bernardo was an admirable man; he made a great impact on many lives and he will not soon be forgotten.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Theresa Cass and husband Shawn; Angel Allen and husband Jason; Monika Garza; 8 brothers and sisters; Grandchildren, Noah Cass; Nathaniel Cass; Naomi Allen; Alexis Garza; And great granddaughter, Annalise Garza.
Bernardo is preceded in death by his parents, Hilaria Gonzalez Gonzalez and Felipe Vargas Ibarra; And 3 siblings.
A life honoring service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM located at Parkway Life Church, 1865 FM 3513 Lumberton, TX 77657.
