Benny Lee Hollyfield

Benny Lee Hollyfield passed away on February 27, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1957 to Hannon Hollyfield Jr. and Hazel Callaway Hollyfield Ebarb.

Benny Hollyfield was a country boy at heart and represented the title well. He was honest and hardworking, and greatly embodied all the characteristics of a great man. With Benny there was never a dull moment, as he was always the life of the party, and never met a stranger. Whether he was playing pool, floating the river, or making some Barbecue ribs, Benny would do it with the joy and radiance that would make everyone around him light up. He was a proud member of Wiley Mae Baptist Church, and found peace when he was saved and devoted his life to God. Benny was above all else, devoted to his family. He spent 30 years married to the love of his life, Mary Ann, and together they raised a beautiful family filled with love and precious memories. Benny was a great husband, father, and friend, and he will not be soon forgotten by the many people who loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Mary Ann Hollyfield; His children Samantha Howard and husband Johnathan, David Hollyfield, Carla Sims; Siblings Brenda Martin, Mary Hollyfield, Pete Hollyfield, Darlene Hollyfield; Grandchildren Jesse, C.J., Liberty, Matthew, Nicholas; And three great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents Hannon Hollyfield and Hazel Hollyfield Ebarb; Siblings Milton Hollyfield, Margaret Ann Hollyfield, Danny Boy Hollyfield, And Tommy Hollyfield.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 12:00PM-1:00PM with funeral services to follow at Pinecrest Baptist Church, 5660 FM1122 Silsbee, TX 77656. Burial will take place at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred, TX 77616.
