Beatrice "Bea" Hackemack Obituary

Mrs. Beatrice "Bea" Evelyn (Frizzell) Hackemack, 81, of Fred, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Beaumont, Texas under the skilled care of the staff at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Beatrice was born Friday, November 29, 1940, in Beaumont, Texas to Oscar Edmond Frizzell and Johnnie Mae (Jackson) Frizzell.

You probably knew Beatrice best as Momma, Bea, or Aunt Bea, but regardless of what you called her you always knew she would be there for you no matter what. Bea was a loving momma to everyone she met, and her home was always a place anyone was welcome. A loving wife to her beloved husband for more than 40 years, Bea continued to thrive and love others even after the loss of her husband Lessely in 2005.

It is not surprising that family was central in Bea's life; as one of twelve children all family events were major happenings and something that Bea truly looked forward to all the time. Many happy memories have been made in the family church of New Hope Baptist Church in Warren where holiday celebrations, birthdays, and family reunions were frequent occurrences. From reading a good book to challenging you in a game of Yahtzee, Bea loved to laugh and have fun with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Melanie Auman and husband John of Conroe, Rory Hackemack and wife Shawn of Fred, Darryl Hackemack and wife Tamara of Hillister, and Kerry Hackemack and wife Amanda of Vidor; her grandchildren: Sarah Hackemack, Helen Hackemack, Candace Hackemack, Kyler Hackemack, Keyera Hackemack, Kerry Hackemack Jr., Maison Hackemack, Karston Hackemack, and Kassidy Hackemack; her great-grandchildren: Cadence, Jaxon, and Maddison Faith; her siblings: Shirley A. Rackley, Robert A. Frizzell and wife Annelie, Larry W. Frizzell and wife Joan, Geraldine "Jerrie" A. Wilson, Ray E. Frizzell, and Thomas "Tommy" E. Frizzell; as well many extended family members, friends, and loved ones through the years.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Edmond Frizzell and Johnnie Mae (Jackson) Frizzell; her beloved husband Lessely Hackemack Jr.; and siblings: Laura M. Humble, Nelson "Buddy" E. Frizzell, Mary "Isobell" Templin, John F. Frizzell, and Sara "Edwina" Brown.

To celebrate Bea's life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at her family church of New Hope Baptist Church, 713 CR 4525 Warren, Texas 77664.
