Barbara Ann Taylor

Barbara Ann Taylor, age 85, of Beaumont, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. She was born in Sinai, South Dakota, on September 5, 1938, to Adolph Hammer and Agnes Brevik.

Barbara enjoyed cooking and loved baking.  She would make tons of cookies for the holidays.  Pies, cookies, and sweets were her favorites to bake. Barbara also had a green thumb and had a big garden full of vegetables.  She was always a helpful friend and neighbor, giving food and clothing to those in need.  Barbara also helped raise many of her nieces, nephews, and extended family.  They were all raised as if they were her own grandkids.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby Taylor and wife, Bonnie, and Sherry Taylor; sister, Jan Peterson; brother, Wally Hammer; grandchildren, Brooke Rivett and husband, Jeremiah, and Beau Taylor and wife, Heather; great-grandchildren, Cyan Rivett, Abby Rivett, Beckett Taylor, Hayes Taylor, and Hollis Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and loved ones.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Taylor; her parents, Adolph and Lisa Hammer; Arnold Northcutt; and numerous brothers and sisters.
