Barbara Sue Sangwin, age 78, of Silsbee, TX, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was born on April 17, 1945, in Silsbee, TX, to her parents, Clifford Hershel Alutz and Annie Marie Paine.
Barbara enjoyed a good mystery movie or tv shows. Being a grandma and spending time with her grandkids brought her the most happiness. She was married to Vernon Sangwin on July 30, 1976, and had been married for 41 years. Barbara enjoyed the little things in life. Like when she would sit and watch the hummingbirds swoop in for a drink. Barbara had a loving and caring heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara Walls and husband, Donald, of Russellville, AR, Frank Leroy Lee Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Silsbee, TX, and Sheila Moore and husband, Robert, of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Anthony Walls and wife, Elizabeth of Dover, AR, Tara Wheeler and husband Brian of Colcord, OK, James Reid and wife, Brooke, of Silsbee, TX, Elizabeth Scott of Kountze, TX, Ashley Lee and Kellie Lee of Silsbee, TX, Chassity Hofelzer and husband, Michael, of Concord, NC, and Thomas Williams and wife, Chelsy, of Montgomery, TX; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklynn, and Baeleigh Williamson, Madisson, Alyssa, Garrett, Blake, and Dillon Clayton, all of Colcord, OK, Aslyn, Castiel, and Penelope Walls, all of Dover, AR, Ian, Maddie, and Kameryn Hofelzer, all of Concord, NC, Karlie, Noah, and Navy Williams, all of Montgomery, TX, Mateo Powell of Kountze, TX, and Spencer Reid of Silsbee, TX; great-great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kloe Clayton of OK; brother, Jerry Alutz Sr. of Fred, TX; sisters, Ann Brown of Silsbee, TX and Donna Brown of Arlington, TX; as well as many loved ones.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Vernon Ray Sangwin; both of her parents; a brother, Clifford Hershel Alutz, Jr.; a sister, Rita Rodger; and a stepson, Talyon Ray Sangwin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Walls, Aslyn Walls, Brayden Williamson, Anthony Alutz, Jerry Alutz Jr., James Reid, Dewayne Ratcliff, and Brian Wheeler.
