Amanda Franklin Obituary

Amanda Kay Franklin, age 35, passed from this life on June 24, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1989 and raised by her mother Linda Perkins Redding and step father Michael Alan Redding.

Her radiant smile and boundless heart lit up every room she entered. She was a devoted mother, a joyful soul, and a woman who gave more to others than she ever asked for herself. Amanda’s greatest joy was her son, Roman, who was her entire world. Every decision, every moment, every dream, she wrapped in love for him: her “little goose”. She also found a soulmate in Dalan, whom she met through mutual friends. Their eight years together were filled with love and bound by a deep connection.  Those who knew Amanda remember her infectious laugh, especially when she cracked herself up mid-story, often forgetting what she was saying but never missing the chance to laugh at herself. She was known for her kindness, her warmth, and her constant care for the people around her. Amanda worried more about others than she ever did herself, always hoping to bring joy and never to disappoint. Game nights with family were among her favorite times. Whether it was a board game or a card game, what mattered most to her was the laughter, the teasing, the love in the room. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and love that will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. Amanda will be missed dearly, remembered often, and loved always.

Left to honor her memory is her beloved partner and soulmate, Dalan Fricano; son, Roman Elijah Fricano; step children, Jaiden and Kyler Fricano; father and stepmother, Michael Alan and Victoria Redding; brother, Nicholas Redding and wife, April; sisters, Angellia Leslie and husband, Joey, and Kimberly Kiker and husband, Gary, and Serenity Torres; sister-in-law, Rebecca Green Redding; parents-in-law, Joe and Mirenda Nelson; cousins, Wesley Perkins and Tessa Perkins; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Amanda in death is her mother, Linda Perkins Redding, and brother, Christopher Redding.
