Albert Timothy Padgett, age 77, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was born on December 19, 1947, in Orange, TX.
A man whose life was defined by love, hard work, and quiet strength, he was known for his big heart. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, gardening, cheering on his favorite football teams, and spending countless hours mastering solitaire, a game he played with unmatched patience and determination. He shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Sue, whom he first met on Halloween night at a VFW. Their bond grew over a few years of companionship and blossomed into marriage on February 19, 1994, a union that remained the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family and a home filled with devotion and laughter. A passionate collector, he treasured coins and World War II memorabilia, finding meaning in preserving pieces of history.
Though he often kept to himself, when he spoke, his words carried weight, and he spoke his mind. He was a proud father and a beloved “Paw Paw,” roles that brought him immense pride and joy. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate his own pump and well service. He will be remembered for his quiet wisdom, his love of family, and the way he lived life on his own terms. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Lorie Wallace and husband, John, and Linda Peet and husband, Reggie; sisters, Cindy Pizzey and husband, Gordon, and Connie Weatherford; grandchildren, Sarah Springer and husband, Chris, Chris Barnes and wife, Dioviana, Jacob Wallace and wife, Brianna, Shelby Wilcox, James Barnes, and Emily Peet; great-grandchildren, Uriah Barnes, Blakely Wallace, Kason Butts, Kinsley Butts, and Josie Wallace; his beloved dog, Molly; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
