Troy Gene Wilson, age 64, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019. He was born in Beaumont, TX to Troy Gene Wilson Sr. and Nelda Rose Ashmore Wilson.

Left to honor his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Debra “Debbie” Guarnere Wilson; daughter, Stephanie Welch and husband, Cliffton, of Vidor, TX; sons, Chad Wilson and girlfriend, Sadie, of Vidor, TX and Jeff Wilson and wife, Taylor, of Vidor, TX; his mother and stepfather, Nelda and Robert Peacock of Vidor, TX; brothers, Darrell Glen Wilson and wife, Vicki, of Lumberton, TX, Millard Dwayne Wilson and wife, Tonya, of Vidor, TX and Thomas Kevin Wilson and wife, Melissa, of Vidor, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Lane “Piggy Lips” Wilson, Brayden Michael “BrayBray” Wilson, Lori Brooklyn Michelle “Precious” Wilson, Miley Rae “Pesky” Welch, Emersyn Virginia Grace “Emmie” Wilson, C. J. “Crazy Jose” Welch and Cameron “C-cam-run” Welch; sister-in-law, Angela Smith and husband, Robert, of Vidor, TX; brothers-in-law, Donald Guarnere and Ronald Guarnere of Vidor, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceding Troy in death were his father; brother, Gregory Kyle Wilson; and granddaughter, Isabella Michelle Welch.

Visitation with family and friends will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church, 18905 I-10 Vidor, TX 77662. Troy’s life honoring funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., also at the church, with Bro. G.R. Edwards officiating. Graveside committal will follow at Williamson Cemetery, Vidor, TX.
