Sandra Kay Votaw

Sandra Votaw was born on December 19, 1942 and passed away peacefully at her residence in Hull, Texas on Thursday afternoon, July 6, 2017.  Sandra was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and spent a few years living there before moving to Colorado where she spent most of her childhood.  Sandra would later meet, and marry her husband, Lloyd Henry Votaw, in Colorado; they would later move to Texas and have four children.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Votaw; a granddaughter, Emily Jacobson Riu; two sisters, Claudia Harbison, and Kathy Howard; a brother, Richard Jensen.

Sandra is survived by her children, daughters Tammy Votaw Quick, and Shodi Jacobson and husband Jay; sons, Daniel Votaw and wife Crystal, and Greg Votaw; grandchildren, Cassie Quick Boone and husband Kerry, Danny Votaw and wife Lindsey, Aaron Jacobson and wife Lori, Alyssa Votaw Burress, Stacy Jacobson, Kati Quick, and Jason Campbell; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Connie Ross and husband Dave; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.

A Special Thanks goes out to Cassie Quick Boone and husband Kerry for taking care of Sandra in her last weeks.  Your sacrifice is priceless and very appreciated by all.
