Robert Louis Organ, Jr.

1959 – 2018

Robert Louis Organ, Jr., age 59, left this life on October 15, 2018. He was born in Oyster Bay, NY on July 22, 1959 to Grace Donner Organ and Robert Louis Organ, Sr.

Bob was a seafarer and traveled all over the world. Some of his favorite countries that he visited were South Africa, Russia and Bangladesh. One of his special encounters was personally meeting and being presented a book from Nelson Mandela, then President of South Africa. Bob loved to cook, and he attended the New York School of Culinary to certify his natural talent. He worked at many places as a chef including on ships, his own restaurant in Florida, while living in New York and a favorite, local restaurant, The Stingaree, in Crystal Beach. Bob loved and cherished his family and friends. He especially enjoyed cooking for them and, as some would say, putting on a Food Feast for all to come and enjoy. Holidays and special occasions were always filled with tables full of homemade seafood specialties, bread, rolls and desserts that Bob prepared for all to enjoy. His wife, Carolyn, and Bob would spend many hours together cooking, fishing, crabbing and traveling. He was always a warm and compassionate man with a big smile and bigger heart. His sense of humor made him fun to be around, and when his voice rang out, everyone knew that Bob was in the building. He will be missed by all that loved him.

Left to honor her memory is his wife of 18 years, Carolyn Organ; daughter, Jennifer Justine Organ; sons, Bobby Lee Trevino and Salvin Jack Aclese and fiance’, Stacy Lavergne; and grandchildren, Tabitha Horn, Hilary Horn, Jaci Aclese, Gracie Aclese, Sophie Aclese and Jack Aclese.

Those preceding Bob in death were his parents and brother, Thomas Organ.

Bob’s life honoring service will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 903 Ave B, Port Neches, TX, with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating.
