Rayward Delhomme

Rayward James Delhomme, 64, of Fred, passed away peaceful in his home on Friday, July 19, 2019. Born September 28, 1954 to Oscar and Amy Delhomme in Lafayette, LA., Rayward came to settle in Texas as his home later in life. A resident of SETX for more than 15 years, Rayward worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. When not working he could be found in the vegetable garden or spending time with his beloved wife, Deborah and perhaps enjoying a favorite country or cajun tune. Rayward loved his family and valued his time spent with them more than anything else. His granddaughter in particular could always count on her Paw-Paw to have a warm smile for his puddin'. 

Rayward is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Amy Delhomme. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Deborah; his granddaughter, Rachel Kuchar; his step-children, Ashlei McKinney, and Gregory McKinney; and many good friends.

Cremation services were entrusted to Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
