Ramona Donaldson

Ramona Pockrus Donaldson, 88, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was a good and caring mother. Ramona was a hard worker and had numerous jobs including bookkeeper. She was a great cook and Baker, and she also was a great seamstress. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a women’s bowling league. She was a member of the Methodist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Etta Pockrus; first husband, Robert Francis Graham; second husband, Clarence Albert Donaldson; siblings, Virginia, Carrie, Laura, Mary, James, Osceola, Mitchell, Morris, and Marion; and nephew, Walter Vernon Franklin.

She is survived by her children, Robert Allen Graham and wife Deborah of Beaumont, Mary Helen Otey Graham and husband Paul Otey of Nederland; granddaughter, Sheila Marie Otey Hunter and husband, Mark of Nederland; numerous nieces and nephews including Achield Young of Baton Rouge, Wayne Young of Baton Rouge, and Wanda Franklin of Austin; and sister-in-law, Helene Pockrus of Salt Lake City, Utah.

A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Sam Walker.
