Clarence Melvin Ingle, Jr. passed away at his home in Vidor, Texas surrounded by his family and friends on Friday, May 25, 2018.
He was born on November 29, 1944 to Clarence Melvin Ingle, Sr. and Josephine (Fountain) Ingle. Melvin graduated from Vidor High School in 1963. He was a member of Ironworkers Local 125. Melvin loved all sports and spent many years coaching football and baseball for his kids and many local youths. He also enjoyed trips to Delta Downs to watch the horses.
Melvin is preceded in death by his father Clarence Melvin Ingle, Sr., his mother Josephine (Fountain) Ingle and his granddaughter, Meagan Marie Ingle.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Alwana Jo Ingle. His children; Melvin Ingle and his wife Malene of Lumberton, Texas; Monica and her husband Gary of Port Neches, Texas; Winston Ingle of Vidor, Texas; Randall Ingle of Orange, Texas; Keith Ingle of Orange, Texas; Madison Ingle of Vidor, Texas; Step Children, Gary Stevenson and wife Erin of Vidor, Texas; Kimberly Casmore and her husband John of Beaumont, Texas; Forrest Hubbard and wife Tiffany of Vidor, Texas; Siblings, Mary Marshall, Betty Carter, J.W. Ingle, Mike Ingle, Jack Ingle, and Kenny Ingle all of Vidor, Texas. Nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and countless family and friends that loved him.
Life Honoring Services for Melvin Ingle will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Latter-Day Saints located at 6198 N FM 105 in Vidor, Texas. Family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. with public visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be immediately following the service at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, Texas.
