Mary Ann Stockham, 72, of Village Mills, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Ann was born on June 15, 1945 in Carthage, Texas to Lonnie and Mary Brown. Ann was a hair stylist for 50 years; she owned her own shops as well as working for others. Ann married the love of her life, Mike, on November 9, 1984; they enjoyed over 33 years of marriage.
Ann worked hard and long hours as a hair stylist, but, she loved to fish. Ann was not a casual fisherwoman, she was a dedicated, serious fisherwoman. Ann and Mike would travel around to fish in tournaments, regardless of the weather, she loved to fish, specifically, bass fish. Ann and Mike moved to Village Mills where they lived by the water, so they could fish whenever they wanted.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Mary Brown; a sister, Lois Hatcher.
Ann is survived by her husband, Mike Stockham; a daughter, Sandra Bullock; a son, Curtis Bullock; step-son, Philip D. Stockham, and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jessica Bullock, Curtis Bullock, and Sailor Stockham; great grandchildren, Caden Nash, and Skyler Nash; brothers, Roy Brown, Jimmy Brown, and Billy Brown; aunts, Audi Anderson, and Samantha Davis; a niece, Terri Broussard; nephews, Chad Wilber, and Brad Wilber.
