Marcus Aubrey McIntire, age 21, passed away on April 22, 2019. He was born in Beaumont, TX on August 21, 1997 to Mark Aubury McIntire, Sr. and March Richardson.

Marcus approached life with a kind, simple outlook and an enthusiastic energy. Honest and respectful, Marcus emphatically greeted everyone with a firm handshake and a loud hello. Marcus never lied; he possessed a pure heart and would rather face the consequences of a mistake rather than being untruthful to those he loved. Though he was occasionally accident prone, he also enjoyed fixing things; from working on trucks to making others smile when they were sad. He was Independent with an outgoing nature and was the life of the party, when he entered a room his personality was sure to change the atmosphere. Mexican food, Barbecue, and fruit pops were some of his favorite things to eat, but when it came to eating, Marcus wasn’t picky, he just loved to eat. At every chance, Marcus was outside; fishing, mudding, and playing football were just a few of his outdoor adventures. He was always there for his friends and loved his family immensely, never missing a family event, his nieces and nephews loved their uncle Marcus and they always brought him joy. His cousin Tommy and his uncles, Eladio and Randy, along with his brother-in-law Robert stepped into his life to fill the void from the loss of his father at the age of 10. He was fearless in life and constant in his love, he will be missed greatly but never forgotten.

Left to honor his memory is his loving parents; sisters, Ashley Moody and husband, Robert, of Baton Rouge, LA and Sylvia McIntire of Lumberton, TX; brother, Mark “Bubba” McIntire of Lumberton, TX; daughter, Natalia Ann McIntire of Beaumont, TX; grandmother, Laura Mistrot of Beaumont, TX; aunts, April Chapa and husband, Eladio of Batson, TX, June Howell and husband, Randy of Palestine, TX, Penny Anderson of Beaumont, TX, Debbie Rueda Bowman of Buna, TX, Gail Zamora of Port Arthur, TX; niece, Grace Brister; nephews, Aubury Moody, Brent Brister and Ryder Brister; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends that all loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mark McIntire; cousin, David Soto; grandfather, Virgil Rutledge; grandmother, Judy McIntire; uncles, John Crider, Roger Buchanan, Wendell Rutledge.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home – 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657. A life honoring service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home - 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657 officiated by Pastor Cody Rosier
