Lucretia Ann Taylor-Guzman

Lucretia Ann Taylor-Guzman, 48, of Lumberton, TX passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019.  Lucretia was born on July 7, 1970 in San Diego, CA to Larry Don, Sr and Mary Katherine Costello Taylor.  Her family described her as a marvelous person, she loved everybody and never met a stranger.  Lucretia was dedicated to helping people and even trained to be a medical assistant so she could pursue her passion.  She was fun loving, outgoing, enjoyed fishing, and loved to shop.  Lucretia was a good cook and like to make spaghetti for her husband of 8 years, Marcos Guzman.  Butterflies, and purple were things Lucretia liked, but she really liked her weekly trips to the beauty shop. 

Lucretia was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Don Sr., and Mary KatherineTaylor.

She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Marcos Guzman; and her son, Bradley Taylor; a brother, Larry Don Taylor, Jr., and wife, Lynelle; a sister, Katherine Duke, and husband, Danny; brothers-in-law, Pedro Guzman; and Viriligo Guzman, and wife, Benta; nieces, Ashley Webber, Sabrina Guzman, Perla Guzman, Catarina Guzman, Brandy Guzman, and Kimberly Guzman; nephews, Jonathon Casey Taylor, Travis Bragg, Taylor Bragg, Jonathan Guzman, Jesse Guzman, Giovanni Guzman, and Angel Guzman; as well as other family members and friends.

A Life Honoring Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in the Chapel of Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St., Lumberton, Texas.
