Lillian Gertrude Keenan

Lillian Gertrude Keenan, 83, of Beaumont, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born in Evergreen, Alabama on April 23, 1933. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Lumberton, where she taught Sunday School for a time. She loved traveling around with her husband and antiquing. She enjoyed the mountains of Colorado and she would hike the trails. She was an excellent wife and mother and could not have been improved upon. She will be missed greatly by her loved ones and her many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, James Keenan of Beaumont; daughters, Deborah Lynn George of Houston, and Rhonda Kay Keenan of Austin; and one granddaughter, Lauren George of Atlanta.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at The First Baptist Church Of Lumberton.
