Kiff Morris Staggs, 59, of Lumberton, TX passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018. Kiff was born on January 26, 1959 to M. T. Staggs and Marilyn Nelson in Shamrock, TX. Kiff Staggs served his country faithfully in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division.
On the exterior, Kiff may have seemed rough but his eyes always glimmered with a love for life. Kiff lived by a simple rule from having experienced many hardships in and out of military service “live it like it is”. While serving in an Army airborne unit, Kiff completed over 400 military jumps, and over the course of his life completed close to 1000 freestyle skydives, which speaks deeply to his love of adventure. He was passionate about his military service and always held soldiers and this country close to his heart. He was a rock and roll biker who had a absolute love for cooking. Another of his greatest loves was “his” Dallas Cowboys, a die hard fan until the end. Kiff will be joining both of his siblings, Stacy and John Staggs, in the afterlife. He is loved and missed by his friends and family.
