Kenneth Wayne Pattillo, 71, gained his angel wings after a 6 1/2-year courageous battle with Glioblastoma on March 9, 2018.
Kenneth was born on July 30, 1946 to Jessie Lee Walton and David Baker Pattillo in Beaumont, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. After 33 years, he retired from Mobil Oil in 1998. His love of outdoors working with heavy equipment began at an early age and transitioned into his second career.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandra Pattillo, of Lumberton; his daughters, Kasey Taylor, and husband, Kenneth of Nederland, and Kristin Pattillo of Nederland; Paw Paw’s favorites, Tabatha Taylor Bach, Trace Taylor, Ashlyn Berner, Kayla Taylor, Kristopher Allen, and Kadin Allen, along with his great grandchildren.
A gathering of Mr. Pattillo’s family and friends will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Chapel at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at the Walton Family Cemetery in Lumberton.
